Summer rain in twilight

And i waited for a summer rain in twilight.
To drizzle down to my soul perched in the thoughts of a lady who might be busy managing a home and waiting a call from her daughter!!!
The petrichor to transport me to a dilapidated home, where an old woman used to tell tales of Krishna...!!!
The droplets running through the panes to remind me of a grey haired man sipping hot black coffee on a verandah
The swinging leaves to recite a ballad on some vintage days hidden in canopy of memories...
The flickering lamp light to
The long lost days of innocence...
And i waited for a summer rain in twilight
