The Green Mile

Ever since i watched 'Cast away', i turned out to be a die hard fan of Tom Hanks.. It drove me to watch his Oscar winning    'Forrest Gump'.. Not to say more, i fall for his superb acting skill like never before.... That made me to search for more of his movies. I landed upon 'The Green Mile' which is an adaptation of Stephen King's novel of the same name. As usual,Tom Hanks as Paul amused me with his composed and subtle way of realistic acting. But what awaited me was something more. An unbelievable performance by Michael Clarke Duncan. His John Coffey made me cry like my heart out.I swear i never before  felt so heart broken after watching a movie. The heart wrenching  trial scenes lingered in me for days and  made me sleepless. Coffey and his words got stuck in my head, and i was damn helpless to get rid of him. A whole night of incessent crying got me a severe head ache too.Everytime i close my eyes Coffey comes before me with his gigantic body and sobbing face, keep reminding me of  a mean world around and the helpless puppets we are!!!How the world pays off goodness is a serious question to think on..Its quite difficult for you to live in this world if you feel for others...." You will get tired.. Dog tired."..Coffey there are people who felt for you.. Cried for you.. Loved you.. Hope it made you better❤
